Catering Checklist

Each caterer has it’s own set of expectations so we’ve come up with some talking points to make sure that everyone is on the same page. The Big Fake Wedding staff will talk through this form with the caterer, fill out the form and then send the completed form to the caterer. The caterer will then respond to that form with “I agree to these terms and conditions – [name, position]“.

Company Name & City

What is provided in terms of dishware, glassware, silverware, napkins, etc?

Discuss the tables that need to be provided for the caterer to use for serving – how many, size, etc. Will they need access to electricity?

What staffing will the caterer be providing? (serving, bussing, bar etc.)

Caterer understands that they are responsible for all load-in/load-out and removal of trash.

Are non-alcoholic drinks being served? If so, please list those and where they will be located. Any additional items needed?

Discuss any venue restrictions/issues you are aware of: load-in, refrigeration, water, storage, prep, etc.

The caterer needs to provide the menu at least three weeks prior to the event so the stationer can print the menu. Is this possible? Are you interested in being partnered with a calligrapher?

Is your staff licensed to serve alcohol?
