In case you didn’t hear, The Big Fake Wedding turned 10 this December! To celebrate our anniversary, we pulled off the ultimate surprise : a vow renewal for our founder, Callie, and her husband David! Callie is one of the big reasons thousands of small businesses and hundreds of committed marriages have been championed across the country. We took this party as a chance to give back to her just an ounce of all the love she has poured out.

This celebration, held at Monday Night Garage, featured a handful of vendors that have stuck with us throughout the years. ShutterBooth has participated at nearly all of the 17 events we have had in Atlanta. DJ Josh Whitlock has been the life of the party (and the featured groom!) time and time again. And the cherry on top (pun intended) was having Peche Petite there who has provided the most delicious and beautiful cakes on more than one occasion.

The night would not have been complete without our dear friends Sean Grant and Freddy Castro performing during the ceremony. Sean wrote the spoken word piece that is played at all of our events and Freddy has played every role imaginable: officiant, groomsmen, party-starter, you name it. What made it even more special was David’s father officiating the whole thing! Celebrate and reminisce with us in the recap below!
