Andy and Rebecca met in the summer of 2010 through a friend in Atlanta while she was in college and Andy was on tour with his band, Set Apart. After three years of dating, Andy surprised her by popping the question in front of family and friends at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The following year, they got married at The Tate House. In their short time of being married, they have lived in San Francisco and have come back to Georgia where they now own their first home together. We are so excited to celebrate these two at The Big Fake Wedding Atlanta!

What was the most unique part of your engagement story?
Andy completely threw me for a loop when he proposed! He called my job at the time, and asked them to change my schedule without me knowing so I could have off on Saturday. He got my friends to take me to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens that day. While we were walking around, I heard a violin playing and to my surprise, there he was with my family standing behind him in a secluded garden! We met in the middle of a heart of rose petals and he asked me to marry him. I don’t know how he did it without me knowing but he was able to get everyone there to share the special moment with us.

What is the most awesome thing about your marriage?
The most awesome thing about our marriage is that we have known each other for almost 7 years and we have always supported in each others personal endeavors that we have wanted to accomplish. We have so much fun together and have accomplished so much in our few years of marriage that it is so exciting to see what the future has for us.

What advice would you give an engaged couple?
Don’t ever think you know each other because you will always learn new things about each other especially after you get married. There is no finish line in pursuing each other. Love is a choice, you choose every day to love each other. There is no such thing as falling out of love, it’s always a choice.

The Big Fake Wedding Atlanta is completely SOLD OUT! If you missed out, we invite you to join us at another one of our events – check out the rest of our 2017 schedule here.
