One of our fantastic Atlanta photographers, Katey Penton, pulled together a talented group of vendors to illustrate the day after the wedding – the beginning of forever, together. These vendors made magic happen in the WOW suite at the W Atlanta – Buckhead, our venue for the 8th Atlanta NotWedding on February 17th. Katey shares some of her thoughts on the creative shoot idea below.

One thing that I love about The NotWedding is the desire to promote strong marriages. It’s not just about the wedding day; it’s about the lifelong commitment between two people. When I found out that I got to do a styled shoot, I wanted to focus on the lifelong commitment aspect of all the wedding festivities. The idea of a fun, laid back Breakfast in Bed shoot sounded like the perfect idea! The shoot features the couple the morning after their wedding day. They are just enjoying being in love and married, cuddling, eating breakfast in bed, and looking at cards from their wedding day. This is “Happily Ever After”!
