From her:
Beau and I met at a Persian New Year Party that my family goes to every year! He sat next to me at the table and we talked to entire night. After a few weeks of talking we went on our first date and got married 4 years to the date we met. I was finishing up my last year at LSU and he was running a local company in town. He has always challenged me to be bigger and better than ever and I just admire him so much! We are clearly soulmates and I can’t wait to take on the world together, with our cats!!
What was the most unique part of your engagement story?
Beau proposed to me in a private room at our local club and then we had brunch with our family. But I was the one that set up the brunch and had no idea it was my proposal! We also got married March 28, 2015 4 years to the date we met March 28, 2011.
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
Looking into Beau’s eyes as he was crying while I read him my written vows. The way his emotions were, it was so overwhelming for the both of us. It truly felt like we were connected.
What is the best gift you have ever given each other?
I am more of the, go to the store and buy him a gift but Beau is more of giving an experience. He has done trips, outings, concerts, etc. He is always about doing something new and different and doing it as a couple. But the best he has ever done was taking me on a hot air balloon ride over Baton Rouge and over LSU Tiger Stadium during the biggest concert of the summer, Bayou Country Superfest! He knew that was on my bucket list and he is always thinking about me!
What inspires you about each other?
Beau is the inspiring one. He is the one that pushed me to finish LSU, he is always challenging himself and pushing him self to be better and better. He is such a hardworker and he’s a,ways doing what’s best for us and our future. He just started his own company and I can’t wait to be there for him as it grows! He inspires me to work towards what I love and never makes me feel low, he is always lifting me up!
From him:
Sophie and I met at a New Years party and married four years later, on the same date. We always laugh with (or at) each other and treat our pets as kids.
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
Our first look and reading of our own vows were the highlights of the wedding for myself. However, the weather, location and band were all top notch. The day of our wedding (3/28/15) was also exactly four years from the day we met!
What is the best gift you have ever given each other?
For Sophie’s birthday the first year we were together, we took a hot air balloon over LSU and Baton Rouge…a moment neither of us will forget.
