Heather and Ryan met for the first time when Ryan gave Heather a tattoo. Are they rockstars or what?! They went on a date a week later, and were married 10 months after that first date. Fast forward a few years, 7 anniversaries and 3 sweet children later, Heather and Ryan are living their happily ever after. This dynamic duo will actually be celebrating their 8 year wedding anniversary during the week of The Big Fake Wedding Atlanta, and their sweet five-year-old son will be helping them celebrate as a groomsman! Are y’all as excited as we are?
We are so pumped to celebrate Heather and Ryan as they renew their vows at The Big Fake Wedding Atlanta, our 10th(!) event in our home city, this Sunday at W Atlanta Midtown. We hope to see you there!

From her:
We met for the first time when Ryan tattooed me. We had our first date a week later, got engaged 4 months later and were married 10 months after our first date. We’ve been happily married for 8 years and have 3 kids and own businesses next door to each other.
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
My favorite memory from our wedding day was seeing Ryan’s face when I walked down the aisle. Once the ceremony started, even while the pastor was talking he kept telling me how beautiful I was and we couldn’t stop telling each other “I love you.”
What is the most awesome thing about your marriage?
I think the most awesome thing about our marriage is that God is our foundation and because of that we are able to love and respect each other and have grace for each other.
From him:
Heather is my soulmate and my love packed into that little 5 foot 3 inch firecracker body.
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
The best moment of our wedding day was when Heather mouthed “I love you” as she walked down the aisle towards me.
What is “your song” and why?
Our song for me is “Through the Darkness” by Tiger Army because every word of that song is true for us.
