Aaahhhh 2013, you have treated us well. We couldn’t have said goodbye to this year in any better city than Cape Cod. It is with great excitement and pride that we reveal the event highlight for our inaugural event at the Cape!
Step 1: Inspiration
Cape Cod vendors had the pleasure of working with our pastel-laden Parisian Whites board. These soft hues stood in perfect complement to the sand, sky and sea of the northeastern coastline, making for a sweet, almost wintery feel from the cakes to the centerpieces.

Step 2: Hello, Chris & Peyton Lambton!
Our NotCouple at the Cape was a special one indeed. Our mutual connections with past Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants, Peyton Wright and Chris Lambton led us to a sweet friendship and the honor of putting on our little vow renewal for them! A true Barbie and Ken couple, they were a joy to work with, and we’re so thankful for their participation. We scored a gorgeous beachside Save the Date shoot with the couple to announce the upcoming event a few months ago, and then got to share their love story on our blog.

Step 3: Bonding
We like to hang out together over a Rehearsal Dinner and an inspiration board before our events, so all our Cape Cod family vendors gathered at Highfield Hall in Falmouth to enjoy some delicious catering by The Casual Gourmet. This is also a great perk for our vendors because they get professional headshots taken by one of our photographers. These can be used by the small businesses on the web and in promotional materials!

Step 4: Crowd Teaser
We love styled shoots because we love inspiration, and this poolside Bridal Shower at Sea Crest Beach Hotel was the perfect set-up.

The whole event was captured on film from start to finish and edited beautifully by Harborview Studios. The wedding day video is a fantastic way to keep a little piece of your big day forever alive, and it’s the perfect sentimental favor for yourself.
