Hey maids of honor! As a wedding photographer, I love love love to attend my friend’s weddings as a guest just as much as I love to shoot weddings for all my beautiful brides and handsome grooms.

Did you know it’s tradition to make your bride a bouquet for her rehearsal out of the tissue paper, ribbons, and bows from her wedding/bridal shower gifts? I was recently at a friend’s shower and wanted to share some tips on how we made her the cutest rehearsal bouquet.

Step one: Twist tissue paper

Step Two: Poke holes into a dinner-size paper plate, stick twisted tissue paper through hole, then cut tissue paper about 2″ above the plate

Step three: Fluff and add more tissue paper until your plate looks like a rose-filled bouquet
