Cast Submission
The Featured Couple is a real married couple who agrees to participate in The Big Fake Wedding as a vow renewal. Some couples will have their families, friends, and even children in attendance at the event. We encourage them to ask their friends to stand in as bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The Featured Couple knows that the creative aspect of the The Big Fake Wedding is all about our vendors. However, we strive to encourage solid and committed marriages – showing our guests a real marriage between a real couple is something that adds an important dimension to The Big Fake Wedding. We want brides to remember to have fun planning their wedding and to prepare for the marriage that lies ahead!
We look for couples that are fun, laid back and easy to relate to and we coach them on how to be the best “walking billboards” for the vendors while also encouraging our guests to plan for their marriages in addition to their weddings. It’s important to note that this is not a Wedding Re-Do for the couple; they will not be choosing their attire, decor, etc. They need to be focused on promoting our vendors and the joys of marriage!
