Influencer Agreement
Hooray, you’re joining the party! The information below will give you an outline of the program and will provide you with marketing materials to help you out. The form at the bottom of this page will allow us to collect your information and make sure that we are all on the same page. We’re thrilled to have you on the team!
What It Means to be an Influencer
As an Influencer, we ask that you “sell” tickets by sharing your specific coupon code. Using the techniques listed below, you can share your coupon code to help recruit engaged couples to attend. You will receive $10 from each ticket that registers using your code. You are also welcome to give away free tickets to engaged friends of yours if you’d prefer. Please note that these are only good while supplies last, so please try to hand these out (and get your recipients to register) early.
Best Tips for Selling Tickets
+Post the marketing images we’ve provided to all of your social media accounts and link to thebigfakewedding.com/rsvp or to your specific event’s website, which can be found on that page. Tag any engaged friends you may have and ask others to tag their engaged friends.
+Email or message your friends who would be willing to share the coupon with any engaged friends they may have.
+Email any organizations you are a part of (sorority, church, school group, etc) to see if anyone knows of someone who is engaged who would benefit from the coupon. Ask that they share the coupon via their social media or an email to their members.
+Email or contact via social media any local blogs, even if they aren’t in the wedding industry. See if they would be willing to share the coupon on their blog and/or social media.
+Print your coupons and hang them in local coffee shops, wedding dress salons, cafes, etc.
Selling Tickets Fine Print
+Please target those who are planning a wedding (aka not just friends who want a free dinner!). Look for engaged couples, mothers-of-the-bride, maids-of-honor, etc.
+Each attendee much register for a ticket online using your unique promotional code. We will calculate how many tickets you sold after each event based on these codes.
+These are only good while supplies last, so if the event sells out and your recipients haven’t registered their tickets, they will no longer be valid.
+You are also welcome to give away tickets to engaged friends of yours, if you’d prefer. You can send them this “Golden Ticket” to use to register for free admission. Golden Ticket: Click here for a PDF to download of a ticket that you can email to your recipients.
Here is the text we use often to briefly describe the event to someone who has never heard about it:
The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative complete with an emotional ceremony, a cocktail-style dinner and a dance-party reception. “Wedding guests” are brides-and-grooms-to-be who get to truly experience the wedding vendors in action.
