In 2008, creatives alike came together to host the first Big Fake Wedding to showcase their products and services. Years later, The Big Fake Wedding is attended by over 5,000 guests and 1,000 vendors annually across 30+ events in 25 cities. Engaged couples get to experience and shop with local boutique vendors and form connections before making an investment towards their special day. The event serves as a source of inspiration, a resource in finding trusted wedding vendors and an emotional reminder to plan for what comes after the wedding: a marriage! For participating wedding vendors, the event exposes their business to new referral sources, while also exposing each vendor to a wealth of inspiration, resources and confidence to take their business to the next level.
Meet Jennifer.
Before becoming The Big Fake Wedding CEO + Owner, she was our first ever surprise real wedding! Since then, Jennifer and her husband have become the owners and stewards of The Big Fake Wedding. Everyone meet our dancing queen, Sarah! She is our Director of production with a passion for hosting themed parties. She firmly believes that you are never fully dressed without a smile and glitter, which is why she has her very own costume closet! When she isn’t dreaming up her next event, you can catch her playing soccer, sand volleyball or playing with her two fur babies, Abbey and Indy.

Meet Courtney, your ATX based production manager and new favorite hype girl! A UTSA graduate & wine enthusiast, Courtney believes the best way to accessorize is with a splash of leopard print and a smidge of sass. When she isn’t running red-lights to get her coffee fix, you can usually catch her getting zen in a yoga class, binge watching horror movies or obsessing over every animal she sees.

Born and raised in Brazil, I love traveling and discovering new places! Graduating from the University of Alabama, I love listening to true crime podcasts and spending time with my two puppies! I’ve danced my entire life and will dance to any song playing on the radio but recently I’ve discovered a passion for boxing and it is probably one of my favorite things to do!
