Abby and Taylor met their freshmen year at Bethany Global University. It was an instant connection, and only took them four months to say yes to forever with one another. On Taylor’s birthday, he popped the question outside the campus chapel. Five months later, they said their vows under a big oak tree where they first met.

What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
From her: By far the best memory of our wedding was our unity ceremony. Instead of lighting candles, we chose to braid 3 pieces of rope, signifying the triple-stranded cord in Ecclesiastes 4:12. Taylor and I prayed over each other and we would both agree it was the most intimate moment we have ever experienced with the Lord – it was absolutely incredible.
What is the best date you have ever had?
From her: We went to a trampoline park on Valentine’s Day – we had so much fun goofing around and ‘showing off’ to each other!
What inspires you about each other?
From her: His patience with me never ceases to amaze me. He inspires me to give more of myself each and every day.
What is the most awesome thing about your marriage?
From her: Honestly, our marriage wouldn’t be anything special without the Lord. He crossed our paths in the first place and has continued to make the love I have for Taylor blossom into something I couldn’t have ever dreamed of. Our marriage simply wouldn’t be without Him and we are so absolutely grateful.
From him: The most awesome thing about being married is to have that one person you care about the most in the entire world and get to wake up next to them for the rest of your life.
What is “your song” and why?
From him: I would have said Big Jet Plain by Angus and Julia Stone but more recently it would be 1000 Emerald Pools by Borns because it’s one of Abby’s favorite songs and she has a dream of doing a duet to the song. Unfortunately for her I’m not a good singer like she is.
