Who says winter can’t be warm? You’ll want to grab a cozy blanket and hot beverage and curl up for this event highlight of The Big Fake Wedding New York City. Nestled over the bridge in Long Island City, The Foundry is a hidden gem that our vendors made even more picturesque (if you can imagine!). We challenged our vendors to think 1920s diner’s club meets mountainous ski lodge to create something cozy and vintage. They delivered with natural elements and luxurious velvets, with touches of faux fur. Cue your inner Bette Davis or Clark Gable for what we’re about to show you in the event highlight below!

Meet the Couple
Laura and Scott met on New Year’s Day at the Marta Train Station in Atlanta, Georgia after Laura first sent him a message on Instagram saying “We should be friends.” After going to a coffee shop and talking for hours, both knew they had found the one. Over the next year, Laura and Scott were inseparable. They lived less than a mile from each other, bought a cat, then another cat, got engaged, and were married one year and one week exactly from the date they met. On New Years Day of this year, they moved to NYC! If their love story, doesn’t prove to you that there isn’t something magical about New Years, than we don’t know what will!
