Once upon a time, Julia was a summer intern for The Big Fake Wedding. She won our hearts over and we just had to have her back on the team. With her infectious energy, we are positive that she would win your heart too. Chances are you’ll be BFFs within minutes of meeting. We all know Julia by her signature red lip + a big, warm hello. Julia does it all around here, anything from vendors emails to booking travel to the blog. We don’t know what we would do without her! Get to know Julia more in today’s Staff Highlight! (spoiler alert: the way to her heart is through baby goats)

Warm. Real. Loyal.
What is the number 1 item on your bucket list?
Traveling to Greece is my number one (but owning a baby goat is an unusually close second!)
What does your dream day look like?
A great day would begin with brunch, followed by exploring a new city, continue with a beautiful sunset, and close with a fireworks show (because duh!) Ooh could we also add a hot air balloon ride in there somewhere? All with my three best friends by my side.
If you could give one piece of advice what would it be?
I’m a huge advocate for being honest about the things you’re going through. I feel like sometimes (a lot of times!) we feel pressure to act like we have it all together. I’ve found that once I really started opening up and getting real, other people did, too. And it made me realize that the world can be big and scary, but we’re not alone in it. And that, to me, is really beautiful.
What makes you the happiest?
Fall! To me, there’s just something so magical about when the weather cools down and the leaves begin to change. The PSLs + cute fall outfits don’t hurt either. Do I sound basic yet?
In your opinion, what makes The Big Fake Wedding different from other companies?
The thing that sets The Big Fake Wedding apart form other companies, to me, are the women I get the privilege to work alongside. They really are just the best humans I know. Each and every day they encourage me, inspire me, make my laugh and point me to Jesus. They care so so much about promoting small business, encouraging committed marriages and inspiring brides and grooms to-be!
