It’s here, it’s here! Our annual Small Business Gift Guide has finally arrived! It’s no secret how much we love local business. So, it just seems fitting for each member of The Big Fake Wedding team to choose one holiday gift idea from a small business that we hold near and dear. From coffee to candles there’s something for everyone on this years list. Take a peek at our picks below!
My friend Brynn Casey is just as sweet as she is talented. Her canvas prints will leave you with your jaw on the floor while simultaneously running to your piggybank to buy one for everyone you know! – Julia
Great Bear Wax Company is an awesome artisan candle shop based out of Birmingham, AL! They make quality candles that are hand-poured. This is a gift you can’t go wrong with. – LB
I’m obsessed with the Park Hats that my friend Emily just launched. I love the look, the feel and the representation of adventure! I’ve already picked out some to gift this Christmas (shhh don’t tell my family) and can’t wait to see what new designs they come out with in the months to come! – Landrum
I love Atlanta for it’s growing coffee scene, and East Pole is one of my favorite roasters on the rise. The guys over at East Pole started out of a neighbors garage, and now can be found in shops all over Atlanta. It’s been so fun to watch their roasting company grow, and I’m excited for their new coffee shop to open next year! (P.s. Give a gift that keeps giving. EPC delivers to your doorstep monthly!) – Johna
Kaitie Bryant (who has photographed many a Big Fake Wedding) created this incredible book with her husband (who once officiated one of our events!) It’s a guide for meaningful conversations, and basically everyone I know is gonna get one for Christmas from me. – Callie
This little leather tote has been on my wish list for years now. Sturdy Brothers is based in my little South Georgia hometown (Thomasville, GA) and has been crafting fine leather goods for years now. Classic, handmade leather goods. – Laura
Jewelry is a great gift to get any of the women in your life- mom, sister, bestie. Cotton and Jewels handcrafts each piece of their stunning jewelry. The artisan, Caity Wrenn, draws inspiration from her travels and own personal unique style, which shines through in her one-of-a-kind pieces. Did I mention that they make beautiful leather clutches too? She is always coming up with new and innovative pieces. I am in love with her new holiday looks!! – Lauren
“I love this soap that is all natural and perfect for sensitive skin. It’s a great gift for your love but you may just want to steal it for yourself!” – Jennifer
Aside from our list, there are endless gift ideas from small businesses everywhere — narrowing our guide down to just one per team member was close to impossible, so we can attest to that. This season, we encourage you to shop small, y’all — it makes giving feel even better.
