Inspired by “life and love and all of its perfect imperfections,” Thrifted Sister Vintage is truly one-of-a-kind. This sweet small business was started by – you guessed it! – two sisters, Nikki and Crystal. These rental rockstars not only provide incredibly unique vintage and specialty rentals, but also offer planning, day-of coordination, styling, and full event design services. It was such a treat getting to work with Thrifted Sister at The Big Fake Wedding Los Angeles, and we’re thrilled to share more about them in today’s Vendor Highlight!

Tell us a little bit about the story of Thrifted Sister Vintage.
Thrifted Sister Vintage was born out of a love for vintage and events with the idea that every client deserves an amazing event. Big or small. We not only provide vintage and specialty rentals, but also provide planning, day-of coordination, styling, and full event design. Fun fact: we’re two sisters married to two brothers!
Who or what inspires you?
Life and love and all of its perfect imperfections is a daily inspiration. We’re also greatly inspired by music.
What is the best part of your job?
As sisters, being able to work side by side and often with our husbands is such an amazing gift! We work hard and have such a passion for each and every event. The process of bringing a concept to reality for a client is such an amazing high and a big part of why we love to do what we do. The reward of a client’s smile and gratitude is priceless.
What advice would you give to aspiring small business owners?
Enjoy the journey of being a small business owner. Embraces and celebrate the struggles and lows just as you would the achievements and highs. Every experience is a building block and will allow you to continue to grow and evolve, making you stronger and better. Remain grateful and hungry, and continue to learn. Remember to take pride in everything you do, big or small, and treat every client as you would like to be treated.
