Looking for an event that stands out? How about furniture rentals that haven’t already been done by everyone and their mother? We know just the folks. Tremaine Ranch is a staging, design, and furniture rental company that specializes in all things unique, and we are big fans. Leah and Matt, the husband and wife duo behind the brand, are the absolute sweetest and their love for each other/for what they do truly shines through in their work. It was such a treat working with these two at The Big Fake Wedding Phoenix, and we’re excited to share more about them below!
“In a wedding world where rentals can start to look the same, Tremaine Ranch has an awesome selection of unique furniture and accessories we haven’t seen before! Leah and Matt are really passionate about what they do, and made our Big Fake Wedding lounge extra special.”

Tell us a little bit about the story of Tremaine Ranch.
Tremaine Ranch is made up of myself, Leah, and my husband Matt Theodosis; we are a husband and wife team based out of Phoenix, Arizona. We were married on a beautiful historic piece of property that dates back to 1918 that my parents own located on Tremaine Drive in Chandler. Our company, Tremaine Ranch, was founded in 2013 after we devoted many hours to designing and creating a personalized atmosphere for our own special day. We are a staging, design & furniture rental company that specializes in all things unique. We offer vintage rentals in Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, and the major Phoenix area. Many of our pieces are handcrafted by Matt, which makes each piece very special! Our goal is to provide our clients with the personalized details that they are looking for to bring their vision to life. We pride ourselves in offering one-of-a-kind pieces saturated with life, history, and authenticity. We also rent out the property for smaller, more intimate events so that we can share the elaborate history and beautiful space with others looking to create unique lifetime memories!
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of owning a small business is getting to work with my partner and growing something from the ground up that we are both 100% proud of. Matt builds a lot of our furniture, takes custom furniture orders, and helps with the business side of things; I thrive on meeting and working with new individuals. I really enjoy managing our social media, communicating with potential clients, and meeting new vendors. Matt and I work very well together and bring different strengths to the business. It is so fun to see Tremaine Ranch grow as each of us grows with it!
Describe a highlight or pivotal moment in your career.
Starting a small business is hard. You have to make sure you have the time, dedication, and money to grow something from the ground up. As of October 1, 2015, I am leaving my part-time job and working on Tremaine Ranch full-time which is huge and one of the biggest decisions we have made in growing our company. Knowing that we are able to put more of our time into Tremaine Ranch is wild – it is exciting and scary, but most of all awesome. We can’t wait to see how much we grow with these new changes!
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I have ever received was “be proud of what you do.” When we first started, we weren’t sure if people would actually like our style. It’s very scary to put a piece of yourself into a company and hope that others will like that enough to support it. We started off feeling slightly shy when talking about our company; it was an entirely new experience and venture for us. Once we were given this piece of advice, we started to allow ourselves to feel more confident and were able to recognize that people really did love and appreciate the work we were doing. We started to believe and know that the potential to make this bigger was there and then everything changed. We became confident in our products, comfortable when talking to new people about Tremaine Ranch, and really dedicated to making our dream a reality.
What is your favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience?
We both loved being a part of The Big Fake Wedding. It was an absolute blast and everyone worked together to put on such a beautiful event. Our favorite thing was talking to so many new people that we had not met or worked with before. Meeting other creative individuals who have a passion similar to yours is extremely inspiring. We left knowing that we were exactly where we were supposed to be and had no thought of turning back. I can’t emphasize how much we valued being a part of The Big Fake Wedding; we highly recommend it for any vendors interested in getting their services or products out there. If you’re in a rut and want to refresh, renew, or branch out, this is a great opportunity for you!
