Custom, Celebratory, Experienced, Multi-Functional, Sparkling!
How do you do it all and do it so well?
I don’t sleep =) Just kidding. My biggest support, sincerely, is my team of 3 amazing Event Assistants, Tori, Jamison & Carrie. All who embrace our “yes is the answer, what’s the question” philosophy, to ensure our clients truly feel that personalized attention, while remaining safely within the limits of successful event logistics. My personal pat on the back is chalked up to a never-ending pursuit of creativity and remaining friendly to everyone I come in contact with. Sincerely embracing each and every client, guest, industry partner, etc…with friendliness and genuine excitement for their celebration I find, has provided much more benefit to remaining sane in a pretty insane (but beautiful!) industry.
What is the best part of your job?
Being a part of so many personal, emotional life celebrations! It never gets old! Keeps you grateful.
What advice would you give to aspiring small business owners?
Remain sincere. Remain un-phased. Embrace hiccups along the way to greatness. Don’t pity them. “After all, tomorrow is another day!”
What is your favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience?
While it was awesome to be a part of an avenue that got us in front of that many more potential clients, the best part was watching it all come together through such a perfectly selected group of vendors. I am always amazed and inspired by what event “artists” (designers, bakers, photographers, entertainers, caterers, etc… all master of their craft!) can do and with so many great ones taking on one building in a matter of hours, it was magical! Also, the Big Fake Wedding team. Landrum and the crew were so great to interact with & learn from.
