What started out as custom invitations, centerpieces, and favors for her own wedding, Lexi turned into the charming business that is Ever Laser. If there is something you want signed or engraved to illustrate a meaningful moment, this is the gal to get it done. She has used her laser sharp talent (get it?) to create everything from wedding and holiday decor, signage, custom gifts, and more. “I wake up thinking about what needs to get done and go to sleep dreaming about what’s next, and I’m loving every minute of it,” says Lexi. The rising art that is laser cutting is invading the wedding scene in a lovely way, and she is ahead of the game! It was a pleasure working with Lexi at The Big Fake Wedding Philadelphia, and we’re thrilled to feature her in today’s Vendor Highlight.
“Lexi is the sweetest. She has such a unique, well-made product, and the guests all adored her guestbook. We were SO tickled by her laser cut ‘The Big Fake Wedding’ sign – which is now on display in our office!”

Tell us a little bit about the story of Ever Laser.
I started Ever Laser after we got back from our honeymoon. I began experimenting with laser cutting and engraving a few months prior because we decided we wanted very romantic, hand stamped winter wedding invitations. For the first time, I turned my hand lettering into custom laser engraved rubber stamps and we started stamping away! And when I say “stamping away”, I really mean it… it took forever, haha! I went on to laser cut wooden pine trees in different shapes and sizes to use as centerpieces and favors. I also made a simple laser engraved guestbook and an alphabetized seating chart for our Terrain at Styers wedding reception. Soon afterwards, I started my Instagram account and began making wedding decor for other couples in addition to holiday decor, wooden lamps, kids room decorations, signage, custom gifts, etc. It’s been a lot of fun so far on this journey and I’m really excited to see what’s next in story of Ever Laser.
What is the best part of your job?
Seriously, every day is the best part! I know it’s cheesy, but I just love my job! Even though the hours are incredibly long and I’m basically constantly thinking about my To Do list (even in my sleep, haha), I’m grateful, fulfilled, and very happy. I wake up thinking about what needs to get done and go to sleep dreaming about what’s next, and I’m loving every minute of it. I enjoy the process of going from initial email with a customer, to file preparation, to laser cutting in the studio, and then seeing the final product all set up and ready to go. Seeing photographs from customers is really wonderful, too! I have to admit, the worst part about my job is packing boxes and standing in line at the post office.
Describe a highlight or pivotal moment in your career.
I have enjoyed some really exciting moments since I started Ever Laser. I consider it a major highlight every time I get involved in a big project or my work is featured on a blog. I feel really grateful whenever I forge a new connection through networking or reach a milestone on Instagram. Participating in the Big Fake Wedding in Philly was certainly a highlight since it was my first wedding expo.
What advice would you give to aspiring small business owners?
Just keep pushing, making stuff, and doing what you do best! Try to stay as organized as you can during the process. Remember that social media is very important and don’t be afraid to reach out for knowledge or assistance, whether it’s from an accountant, strategist, book, or mentor. There’s always something you haven’t learned yet or a way you can improve. Just keep going! It’s a journey, not a destination.
What is your favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience?
I had a great time participating in the Big Fake Wedding in Philly. I contacted a lot of the vendors a few weeks before the event to offer my laser cut services. The ability to collaborate with the other vendors gave me the opportunity to make, not only the laser cut guestbook and signage that I signed up to make, but also, the cake toppers, cupcake stands, photo booth props, menus, and table numbers. I got to meet a ton of brides in person to talk about the custom laser cutting and engraving that I could do for their weddings, and went home with dozens of professional photographs of my work to use on social media. It was a fun challenge to work from an inspiration board and really exciting to see how all of the vendors designs worked together.
