“I am always so honored to share each couple’s first moments as husband and wife, and blessed with their trust in capturing the most important day of their lives.” Thrilled by love and inspired by capturing it, Jessica of Jessica Elaine Photography is just as sweet as she is talented. Her photos embody the perfect combination of creative, emotional, classic, and candid – and it doesn’t hurt that she’s tons of fun to work with, either. We absolutely loved getting to know this sweetheart at The Big Fake Wedding San Diego, and we’re thrilled to feature her in our Vendor Highlight today!
“Jessica and her husband, Nick, were the greatest to work with. They went above and beyond what is required of photographers. At the event, they created this incredible fruit wall and brought in tons of props to style the stationary with. They also had a really great marketing tool where people took polaroids in front of the fruit wall and she taped the photo inside a little card with her business card. They were just the best. We have not stopped raving about them.”

Describe Jessica Elaine Photography in five words or less.
Friendly, classic, candid, timeless, and fun!
Who or what inspires you?
I am truly thrilled by love and inspired by capturing it. Everyone has such a unique story; all of my clients come from every walk of life, from all around the globe, from different backgrounds, and yet they all have one thing in common -love! There’s nothing like watching a father weep as he sees his beloved daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, and I’m the one behind the camera crying as the bride and groom say their vows. I am always so honored to share each couple’s first moments as husband and wife, and blessed with their trust in capturing the most important day of their lives.
Why photography?
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a camera in my hands – from snapping pictures of all my barbies, to pulling that ridiculous strip film out of those Polaroid I-zone camera with eager anticipation to see what magic I had captured of my pets. My love for capturing life came when I got my first 35mm camera and from that moment on I was glued to the photo counter at Walmart waiting for my masterpieces. I turned my passion into a career 6 years ago and have enjoyed every moment since.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The early moments in the morning when I feel like I’m the only one awake in the world. I love starting new days and beginning them well; every single one should be explored and lived fully!
What is your favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience?
The best part was connecting with so many incredibly talented vendors and creatives! There is so much talent in every city, and having an opportunity like this gives you a chance to meet the inspiring people in the industry.
