“I live for the relationships that I have been given; I have to pinch myself every day because I get to do life with the most incredible people in one of the most captivating places in the world.” We also have to pinch ourselves when we realize we have LaBruce Trammell, marketing superstar, as a part of The Big Fake Wedding team. If you’ve been to one of our events, there’s no chance you missed her – she has a wild mane of curls and flutters around to nearly every single person there, making a connection wherever she goes. LaBruce was actually the Bride at our first ever Charleston event, and we were so impressed by the way she networked and recruited engaged friends to attend that we knew we needed her right then and there. Now the Marketing Director of The Big Fake Wedding, LaBruce manages our media partnerships and marketing efforts, as well as ensures that each event is packed with fabulous guests who are ready to wedding-plan and party. In her spare time she does about 5 billion other things, including spending time with her precious puppy and sweet husband. LaBruce’s innate marketing skills combined with her natural love of people make her a ridiculously wonderful asset to our team, and we feel so lucky to have her as a Marketing Director, team member, and friend. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am the wife of Harrison, the mom to Cooper (our black goldendoodle pup) and friend to many. I live for the relationships that I have been given; I have to pinch myself every day because I get to do life with the most incredible people in one of the most captivating places in the world (Charleston, SC).
What is the best advice you ever received? From who?
Big Steve (my Dad), “Remember who you are.”
Why marketing?
Marketing is a pretty fun combination of my personality and my gifts; I just simply love connecting good people to good people.
How do you do it all and do it well?
Grace. Give it, have it, remember it…always. I am pretty generous with extending grace to others, but when it comes to me, I am much harder on myself (any ladies out there feel that?!). With patience, practice, encouragement and determination, I am slowly learning how to show grace to myself – and wow, it changes everything!
