We love it when our vendors come up with something completely out-of-the-box — and lucky for us, it happens a lot! Some of our fabulous vendors from the upcoming Cape Cod NotWedding put their clever minds together and created the “Gentleman’s Afternoon” styled shoot, and we were seriously impressed. With some wonderfully innovative thinking, they changed their focus from always being on the bride and her various parties, to what the groom might want to do or enjoy before he sets off on his new marriage. This unique shoot, designed by Jamie of Cape Cod Celebrations and captured beautifully by Keslie Corbett Photography, took place at a cranberry bog on Cape Cod. If this is what our vendors pulled together for a pre-event shoot, we cannot wait to see what’s coming this Sunday at the 2nd Cape Cod NotWedding. We hope you love this styled shoot as much as we do! “The afternoon started with Marcia, a cigar roller from Boston Cigar Factory, who sat with the guys and taught them how to roll cigars. A beautiful art in a beautiful setting. The guys followed up the cigar rolling with some cornhole and football and then headed down the bog to a whiskey tasting. The whiskey tasting was displayed on a handmade table from True North Event Rentals and the guys made notes on their whiskey tasting cards from Dulce Press. After enjoying the whiskey and playing with an adorable new puppy, they headed back to the main bog where a table was set in the bog for dinner. The centerpiece of the table was created by All About Flowers for Weddings and was a creative mix of flowers and whiskey in a stack of whiskey glasses. At the bog, the men mixed up some cranberry old fashioneds and sipped on some local Cape Cod Beer. Friends toasted the groom, signed his football and were able to sit back, relax and puff on their new cigars.”
