She got into events because of her love for design and decorating. The planning is just a very small part of what she does and loves; her passion for serving others is what led her to the service industry. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them plan days that are some of the most memorable in their lives. Even though she may seem like a girly girl, she loves four-wheeling in the Flint Hills (mostly because the scenery is close to the African landscape), beef jerky and Starbucks. She is blessed by her two little girls and they are part of her drive to succeed in this thing called life.
She is Ashley Moore – founder and owner of Events and Design by Ashley and OUR Midwest Regional Director. We love having this girl on our team; meet Ashley.

Describe yourself in five words or less.
Loyal, compassionate, creative, goofy, and driven
What does your dream world look like?
My dream world would involve moving my little family to Africa to live and work at the Challenge Farm Orphanage to care for over 160 kids. Not exactly related to my job, but it gives me purpose as I strive to serve others.
How do you “do it all” and do it well?
I would not be able to do my job without the support of my husband, family and friends. Although not easy, I have learned to be extremely flexible. Have taken multi-tasking to a level I never thought existed since I have two little girls as well, and have had to let go and delegate. I also feel so blessed to have a great staff that is eager to work hard to ensure that all office work is done and that each client is taken care of on the day of their special event.
Why did you want to bring The NotWedding to the Midwest?
I wanted to bring a new way to market businesses and the way in which potential clients receive information about those in the wedding/event industry. Instead of going to a bridal show and seeing pieces of an event in a 10×10 booth, I wanted to give both vendor and client the opportunity to see all the elements of their potential wedding come together to paint the bigger picture. After coming across The NotWedding on Facebook, I knew immediately that this was the exact event that would showcase vendors in all their glory, and to give inspiration to brides, grooms and other wedding professionals.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
The best piece of advice was given to me by my husband, and it was simple: You can’t please EVERYONE, so be honest and do what you know is right. This is hard for me especially in the position I am in as an advocate for my clients and as the ambassador for vendors. I want everyone to be happy, and yet I often forget that the key to success is to realize that the key to failure is trying to please every party involved!
