“We decided to keep the shoot fairly simple and stick with the color palette provided. Since the theme is ‘down to earth’ I wanted to utilize a location with a very natural, organic feel and minimal props. The shore of a local lake provided us with exactly what we were looking for. As a bonus, Allison offered to bring the canoe Kaleb bought her for her birthday to the shoot! I love how the red of her skirt complements the green canoe and scenery.”
