Modern Industrial Wedding Inspiration in New York City

Earth tones and modern chic design brought this inspiration to vision. The vendor team in New York City went above and beyond bringing this vision to life! The Big Fake Wedding New York City took place at City Winery New York, which provides full event service for your wedding, commitment ceremony or elopement with stunning views of the new Little Island. The backdrop and table decor created by Wild Heights Events provided an airy modern setup for an intimate vow renewal for our featured couple. Modern chic tablescapes and stunning florals stole the show by Wylderose Events, Lunaluxe Events and Events by Larisa Marie LLC. Some unique and fun details that every guest enjoyed were designer jewelry rental by Red Carpet Rocks and a custom designed video game providing classic Pac-Man vibes by Big Day Games.

The Inspiration

Meet our featured couple:

Frankie and Joanna met in July 2017 in New York City, and set plans for their first date for drinks at the Metropolitan Museum of Art rooftop. Joanna was held up late at work in the lab with an experiment, and they missed the early rooftop closing time. After settling on drinks at The Ribbon instead, Joanna introduced Frankie to her favorite drink dirty martinis. Frankie proposed in January 2019 in their upper east side apartment while enjoying dirty martinis (as a nod to their first date) and an episode of The Office. Joanna and Frankie eloped due to the COVID-19 pandemic on November 6th in New York City and plan to celebrate with their friends and family later this summer.
