We truly love to see the lasting relationships that are a product of our events. A group of our talented vendors from The Big Fake Wedding San Antonio met for the first time at the event, became friends, and collaborated for this inspiring eclectic styled shoot!
We chatted with the floral designer, Hannah Flores of Madly + Love Blooms, about her experience. She and the team used metallics, palms, and warm hues to create something truly romantic and beautiful. See it all and hear Hannah’s story below!
“When The Big Fake Wedding approached me about being part of the San Antonio event, I barely had any weddings booked and almost no vendor relationships. I realized I didn’t have much to lose.
I took a chance and signed up to be a vendor. Right away I was contacted by a few other vendors about collaborating. Those people became my friends and after The Big Fake Wedding I kept in contact with them.
Fast forward to wanting to plan my own styled shoot – who did I know in the industry but these awesome friendors from BFW! I did partner with new vendors that were not a part of the original crew, but my ability to reach out to them and ask complete strangers about collaborating was very much connected to what I learned from the event.
Some of these new friends have been the most collaborative, supportive, and encouraging. It has been sweet getting to know them and finding ourselves at actual weddings together!
When The Big Fake Wedding was over I didn’t immediately notice how beneficial it had been, but looking back it was the springboard my little company needed to become active and viable in the local wedding market!”
