Carrington & Ashley met in the most unique way…on Instagram! It didn’t take long for them to know they were meant to be. After 8 months of dating, Carrington proposed to Ashley and they were married exactly one year after they met. Their relationship has been an incredible adventure and they believe that decades from now they will be able to say that on their wedding day is when they loved each other the least because they grow more in love with each other everyday.

What was the most unique part of your engagement story?
From her: The most unique part of our engagement story is that it was completely unexpected! Carrington proposed to me in front of a live audience when I was hosting a women’s conference that had over 500 people!
From him:The last two weeks of our engagement we fasted from each other. We agreed not to speak or see each other until the day before our wedding at the rehearsal.
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
From him: The best memory of my wedding day was the moment my wife began walking down the aisle and as I was crying uncontrollably the thought hit me that I will be spending the rest of my life with this angel and how blessed I am to be trusted with leading our lives.
What advice would you give an engaged couple?
From her: My advice I would give to an engaged couple is to create your own story! So many people say the first year of marriage is hard, but our first year, second year and third year have been wonderful! We have had character building moments but what we have learned is that marriage is what YOU make it and if you allow God to be a part of your story it will be beautiful.
From him: One piece of advice that I would give an engaged couple is to make sure that the foundation of your relationship is rooted in the word of God so that it will be able to withstand any pressure, attack, or weather that threatens to destroy it.
What inspires you about each other?
From him: What inspires me most about Ashley is her “Do it” mentality. Ashley has no idea what the word procrastination is, so any great idea that comes to her she writes it down, plans it, and knocks it out without hesitation.
