Sean and Lindsey met in college while volunteering at a YoungLife camp called Rockbridge. She was very hesitant, but Sean was very persistent. He started making trips to visit her at college and after months of his patient pursuit they began dating. They dated all through college and Sean asked Lindsey to be his wife back at Rockbridge where they met 3 years before. They got married 6 months later on a farm nestled in the rolling hills of Harrisonburg VA (her college town!) They’re now living in Charlotte where Sean is on YoungLife staff.
We are so excited to celebrate these two Thursday night at The Big Fake Wedding Charlotte! Read on for their Sappy Love Story!
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
The best moment from our wedding day was when we had a sort of first look – I was blindfolded and Lindsey could see, but it was still a really special moment.
What is the best gift you have ever given each other?
It may sound silly, but the best gift I have ever received from Lindsey was a Patagonia Fleece sweater – I wear it all the time.
What is the best date you have ever had?
The best date we have ever had was for our 1st anniversary – we had dinner at Dressler’s restaurant in Charlotte and then spent some time in the city.
What inspires you about each other?
Lindsey inspires me to be a better man. She pushes me to love people and show compassion.
What is the most awesome thing about your marriage?
The most awesome aspect of our marriage is that fact that we get to make each other better – we get to process life together.
