Is there anything worse than warm beer? Thanks to our friends at Hot Beer Sucks, Inc. and their amazing product, the Kegooler, your brews will stay exactly how God intended – ice cold. The Kegooler is the only keg cooler that is portable, will keep your keg cold for up to five days, and requires no external power. It is designed to be easy as pie to use and to go wherever the party goes. We got to experience this wonderful phenomenon for ourselves when Hot Beer Sucks, Inc. participated in our very first Asheville event, and we are so excited to share it with all of you party people. It was such a blast getting to work with Taylor and her team at The Big Fake Wedding Asheville!
“They offer a really fun solution for beer, and they definitely have their branding game on point. We’ll be all over this for next summer’s parties!”

Tell us a little bit about the story of Hot Beer Sucks, Inc.
Hot Beer Sucks, Inc. was founded in 2011. Our product, the Kegooler was born out of a recognizable need for a more efficient, cleaner, more affordable, and even portable way to cool kegs. After some research and development by my father and me, we had the Kegooler! My mom is the one who named the company, very appropriately of course.
What is the best part of your job?
I love going to events and festivals, meeting new people, showing them the Kegooler, and seeing the “ah-ha!” moment when they realize the potential for what they could do with a Kegooler!
Describe a highlight or pivotal moment in your career.
The day we sold the first Kegooler. I was on vacation and got an email. I actually teared up a little. I was so proud that our product was finally going out into the world!
What advice would you give to aspiring small business owners?
Remember that it takes time. I watched my parents build a company out of nothing and one of the best things I learned from them was that it took dedication and time to grow a business. It doesn’t always (read: rarely) happen overnight. Be prepared for it to take time to build a successful company. When you look back at the years, you will be glad you took the time to build a solid foundation and learn from success and mistakes.
What is your favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience?
I got to actually show people how awesome the Kegooler is! They saw how cold the beer was and could actually visualize it at their own wedding. I have never been able to really showcase all the good things it can do, and The Big Fake Wedding allowed me to do that. Seeing the excitement on people’s faces really made my night!
