Margaret and Ryan are from the same small town of Camden, SC. They actually dated in high school(!) before going their separate ways in college. Right after college they reunited in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and not long after, Ryan surprised Margaret with a beautiful engagement in Banff, Canada.
We are so excited to celebrate Margaret and Ryan as they renew their vows at The Big Fake Wedding Greenville, tomorrow night at Huguenot Mill Loft. We hope to see you there!

What was the most unique part of your engagement story?
Ryan and Margaret share a love for the beautiful outdoors. Ryan surprised Margaret by dropping to one knee in the gorgeous Banff, Canada where the mountain scenery and lakes are out of this world!
What was the absolute best memory from your wedding day?
The best wedding memory was seeing all of our friends and family in one place celebrating our marriage and having a great time.
What is the best gift you have ever given each other?
The best gift we have given each other is our love and support for each other. Ryan is a full time medical student and Margaret has been a great support for him and they both continue to love and support each other selflessly.
What is the best date you have ever had?
One of the best dates we have ever had was when Ryan surprised Margaret and took her up the gondola to an incredible restaurant in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
What is “your song” and why?
Our song is Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are the Best Thing”
What advice would you give an engaged couple?
Don’t sweat the small stuff!!! Focus on your relationship with your future mate and be intentional about building a solid foundation i.e. read books, seek wisdom from mature and solid couples. And most of all, enjoy the ride. The most perfect thing that happens on that day is marrying your best friend!
