“It really is a joy to have a treasured friend that is passionate about equipping clients to truly celebrate and revel in their guests, no matter the occasion.” Malorie and Hannah, the talented duo behind Petal + Fold, are the ultimate design dream team.* Simply put, Petal + Fold specializes in creating things that make you smile and celebrating others – and we so love that. It was such a pleasure working with Malorie and Hannah at The Big Fake Wedding Atlanta, and we’re thrilled to share more about them in today’s Vendor Highlight.
“Malorie and Hannah are an amazing team! They have such an eye for design and are a wonderful duo to work with. From start to finish they will impress you! Absolutely love them.”

*No, that isn’t the title of the latest HGTV competition show (but if it did exist, Malorie and Hannah would totally win).

Describe Petal and Fold in five words or less.
Intentionally celebrating the ordinary and extravagant.
What’s the best part of working as a team?
The best part of working as a team is having a built in support who helps create your vision, pushes your creativity, and shares in all of the highs and lows of your work. We have been close friends for almost a decade, so we have the distinct privilege of building our business with a friendship that is steeped with honesty, care, creativity, challenge, and lots of laughter! It really is a joy to have a treasured friend that is passionate about equipping clients to truly celebrate and revel in their guests, no matter the occasion. We love watching our clients see their requests/vision come to life, then they get to share that with their fold.
Who or what inspires you?
A whole host of characters play into our inspiration. But our true passion is being inspired by so many stories and experiences that we are entrusted with as we get to know our clients. We love being able to hear from clients to know more of their story, their vision, and then be able to draw on past experiences that enable us to create a physical representation or reminder of those things that are special to them.
What’s the best advice you ever received?
When we first thought about starting our business together, we went on a double date with our husbands. They both really encouraged us in that moment to embrace our craft and do what we love to do: creating things that make you smile and celebrating others. They also told us to enjoy ourselves and not take things so seriously. I think that’s why we make sure we laugh a lot when we work!
What is your favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience?
Our favorite part of The Big Fake Wedding experience was connecting with other vendors and creatives from around the city. We were given so much freedom to create, and it was inspiring seeing everyone else’s visions as well as expressing our own.
