We were lucky enough to attend the Charleston Fashion Week Spring Bridal Show, and it was nothing short of fabulous. The show was presented by Gathering Events, so the entire tent was decorated like a dream, and the featured designers showcased some truly breathtaking gowns. Without further ado, take a peek at some highlights from this premier bridal fashion event!

The collaboration of Birdsong’s unique accessories and One Love Design’s bohemian dresses left the audience in awe. I mean, the back of that second gown is incredible enough, but when paired with a gold chain back piece? Swoon.
White on Daniel Island had a wonderful selection of wedding dresses in the show, from a Kate Middleton-inspired gown to a crop top + high-waisted number. We didn’t know what to expect next!
Perhaps the most unique and colorful in this year’s Spring Bridal Show was Kate McDonald. The crop top trend popped up again in this show, and although Grandma probably wouldn’t love to see that at your wedding, this Kate McDonald piece was a huge crowd-pleaser. As for our favorites? We couldn’t decide between the pretty pastel gown made entirely of sequins (!) or the gold and floral frock above. Can we just have them both?
Known for their classic and elegant pieces, Modern Trousseau showcased gowns that were not only beautiful, but totally wearable as well. Our favorite had to be the chambray top and the tulle skirt – how perfect would a similar look be for a bridal shower or bachelorette party?
This bridal boutique might be relatively new to the scene, but their show gave the impression that they’ve been around for years. The beading, the lace, the exquisite details… shall we go on?
Gown Boutique of Charleston seriously edged it up this year, and we were big fans. What’s more badass than starting off your show with a jet black gown? However, the dresses that wowed us the most were the fully beaded number with feather details, the keyhole back gown with a sexy fit and flare silhouette, and the nude-colored ballgown with illusion sleeves.
The whole room was buzzing in preparation for the designer of the hour, Amsale. This fantastic designer did not disappoint, showcasing all kinds of stunning illusion necklines and low backs, intricate beading, and delicate lace. Can we talk about the back of that last dress?! Amsale ended the Spring Bridal Show with a bang, and left everyone wanting more.
