Need creative, beautiful, and classic invitations for your wedding or event? Christine from Tag Design is your gal. She works with you to make sure your paper goods are everything you want and more. We had the pleasure of working with Christine at the second Cape Cod NotWedding, and she seriously blew all of us away. It is with great excitement that we share her Vendor Highlight today!

“Tag Design brought their A-game to the event, working together with Kelley at Alchemy Flowers & Gardens and bringing two sets of invitations to share with the guests – her work was creative and fun!”

Who’s your biggest fan and why?
My biggest fan was my mom. She always encouraged me, inspired me, and rooted for me with all aspects of my business. She was always looking for ways to help me become more successful. She was the person who told me about The Not Wedding and suggested I apply to be a vendor and was the first person I called when I was chosen this past year. Unfortunately she passed away in June before I had even designed the invitations, but the sunset over Old Silver Beach that evening was proof of that she was there with me!

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is seeing the reaction of my clients when they hold their finished wedding invitations for the first time. The sparkle in their eye and the smile on their faces makes my day! I love what I do and every time I get a call from a new couple, I am excited about what kind of design will be created and how I can make it just as special as the last. A wedding invitation is the first glimpse into your wedding and I love being able to help my couples express their ideas and emotions on paper for their guests.

What advice would you give to aspiring small business owners?
I would say to other small business owners to never give up. Always strive for more than what you have. Embrace the challenges and ignore the naysayers. It doesn’t happen overnight (unless you meet Oprah or Ellen, haha!) but it can happen for you! I’m still building my business up and gaining new clients each day. If you love what you do then let your talents show in your work and you will be rewarded eventually.

What is your favorite part of The NotWedding experience?
My favorite part of The NotWedding? Well, thats an easy question… ALL of it! I love the concept itself – it is fresh and so much more fun than the traditional bridal show. I had a great time meeting so many other vendors in the wedding industry and networking with them. I enjoyed being able to design two different invitations which allowed me to show that, when it comes to design, the possibilities are endless! But most of all I loved meeting so many beautiful brides and I am excited to begin designing for many of them!
