Rainy days are usually not ideal for your wedding day; however, at the third Nashville NotWedding, the gentle drizzle simply added to the ambience. The dense November mist brought with it a feeling of tranquility and romance that leisurely settled among us like a thin veil of fog. Ruby harbored everyone from the storm in their cozy space, surrounding us with warm brick, rustic wooden beams, and twinkling lights. The whole night felt like a wonderful dream that we never wanted to end — take a peek at the magic below.

Inspiration
People sometimes ask us how a vendor team so large and diverse can come together to create a unified event that doesn’t look like a jumbled hodgepodge. We aren’t completely sure how to answer that other than the fact that our vendors are rock stars. We watched in awe as these unique small businesses worked together to construct something so cohesive, you would have thought it was done by one company. Our talented Nashville vendor team was challenged to use traditional notions in avant-garde ways to take guests to another reality — whimsical, windswept, and passionate. Embracing the tension of romance and drama, our vendors used aspects of classic beauty to create an abstract, dreamlike atmosphere that gave us permanent goosebumps.
