Want something completely unique for your Big Day? These guys have got you covered. Roll With It Enterprises specializes in renting modified vintage Airstream trailers for just about any event — not only weddings, but also bachelor/bachelorette parties, tailgates, holiday parties — you name it! Geoff Richardson, the demiurgic dude behind Roll With It, has always been drawn to the “retro-futurism” design, or what people in the past thought the future would look like. Connecting people and ideas with one another brings Geoff the greatest joy, and according to him, if you can imagine something in the Airstream, it can probably be done. Challenge accepted. We were thrilled to work with Geoff and his team at the 2nd Charleston NotWedding, and we can’t wait until we get to roll with them again.
“Roll With It has got to be one of the coolest things (no air-conditioning pun intended) that I’ve seen in a while! It’s one of those things you never knew you needed until you see it! They have done an amazing job at planning and providing a multi-functional space for anything you might need from getting ready, to a bridal luncheon, to a lounge space and so much more in between. Definitely an outdoor (or indoor) wedding must-have!” The Charleston NotWedding Team

Describe Roll With It in five words or less.
Customizable Mobile Vintage Event Lounge.
What inspired you to buy an airstream?
I’ve been fascinated with Airstreams since I was a child. The first one I ever saw was on a camping trip when I was about 6 years old. This big shiny mirrored silver bullet rolling down the road. It looked like something from the future. I later learned that I’ve always been drawn to “retro-futurism” design. What people thought the future looked like in the past.
The most fun way to use my airstream would be: _________.
The most fun way to use my Airstream would be as a photo booth or DJ bar lounge. From pegboard steel walls, RGB LED lighting and a stainless steel bathroom that converts to a wet bar or DJ booth — the goal, creating the aptly named “Presto Change-O,” was to make it as universal and flexible of a unique space as possible. If you can imagine it, it can probably be done. But things like photo booths allow all the attendees to come and play inside of it.
Why do you do what you do?
I’m a creative entrepreneur at heart. Like artists, I have a file full of ideas stored away just waiting for the right time and place to bring them to life (and maybe make money as well). Connecting people and ideas to each other brings me the greatest joy.
What is your favorite part of The NotWedding experience?
My favorite part of the NotWedding experience was the originality of the experience created. In today’s social media world of branding, the most boring thing you could do is throw a six foot table down under hard fluorescent lights and try to convince a bride or planner that your product is special because the environment itself right off the bat, is not special. Creating an immersed experience with vendors allows you to see and experience EXACTLY how you might use a vendor for your wedding.
