Southern belle, Magen Davis Photography, invited a talented team of vendors to bring the charm in this styled shoot for the 2nd Birmingham NotWedding. They were successful with a polite nod to the hospitality of the south while stepping up the scene with pure elegance. If this is any indication of how beautiful the event will be tonight, we can’t wait.
“Big city meets southern charm in this upscale heart of the South styled shoot. Our inspiration for this shoot was that of creating something fresh, elegant, and keeping in line with the design board. We wanted to combine elegance with southern charm and hospitality. Inspired by how marble combines colors and textures, we translated this to a watercolor look in the menu as well as the chargers, which were custom painted and textured rosette tablecloth. We wanted the tables to feel warm and intimate which is why we used the settee and chairs for the sweetheart table. I love this color palette because I feel like it is season-less…any bride can use this color palette any time of the year. As we appreciate unique elements, we used a mint cake pedestal for the floral arrangement to add more color to the table. The Oaks was the perfect backdrop for our elegance meets southern charm look.”
