“Cocoa Dolce just expanded into Kansas City from Wichita. They were eager and willing to do whatever. I asked for a macaron cake that followed our inspiration board and they exceeded my expectations. They also did favor boxes with yummy chocolates. So easy to work with!”

Tell us your story in three sentences or less.
Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates was born out of the dissatisfied life of our owner. My true passion was in chocolate making around the holidays. This dream became a reality in November of 2005 and has grown into a flourishing business that hand-makes all chocolates and creates a unique chocolate lounge for our guests.
Do you have any advice for folks who want to “follow their dreams” but are nervous about taking the plunge?
Dream big! I was lucky enough to have a supportive group around me when I followed my dreams, but have the confidence in yourself to pursue what truly makes you happy.
Who’s your biggest fan and why?
We are fortunate to have lots of fans, so EVERYONE! Who doesn’t love chocolate? We do appeal to the chocolate lover that notices and appreciates fine quality items.
What is your all-time favorite sweet?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Butterfingers! They are my guilty pleasure.
What is your favorite part of The NotWedding experience?
As a business, we love being a part of such a unique event. I wish The NotWedding was around when I got married. It’s so great to see the wedding “in motion” and allow future bridal parties to envision their perfect day in an environment showcasing the best of the best in the wedding business.
