We are ecstatic to introduce you to our fabulous interns who are bringing their own personal flair to The NotWedding this summer. We asked them a few questions to get to know them a little better and they did not disappoint! From spirit animals to studying abroad, there is no doubt that these girls have personality. If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?
A parrot because I’m apparently super sassy…I don’t agree though. Or a dolphin because everyone loves dolphins and they get to swim around and people pay to watch them do tricks!
If we were to look inside your refrigerator, what would we find?
Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked and Cake Batter (in the freezer), almond milk, Palmetto Cheese, and a copious amount of ranch dressing

If you could choose to be on the cover of a magazine, which magazine would you choose and why?
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of my wedding day. Thus, If I could be on the cover of any magazine I would choose Cottage Hill Wedding and Lifestyle Magazine (Me as the bride, preferably!) Their first issue will be released in the fall, so if you haven’t heard of them until now… be sure to give them a look!
What is your favorite book and why?
“Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers. I love this book because it helped me understand just how relentless love can and should be. And that marriage does not confine or cage us in, it sets us free!

If you only had six months left to live, what would you do with the time?
I think I would travel the world with my family and lots of friends and develop relationships with people of other cultures!

If you were to be an animal, which one would you be and why?
My friend once told me that my spirit animal is a mountain lion. I like to think it’s because I’m adventurous, but maybe she’s trying to tell me something, who knows.
If you could only do one dance move for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
My gut instinct says twerking, but I’m not sure if that’s appropriate. I don’t really have a reason except that if you can twerk, why not?

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
The most adventurous thing I have ever done is fly to Boston by myself! I am kind of terrified of plans so it may not seem adventurous to other people, but I guess I don’t live a very adventurous life haha.
If you had just learned that you won the lottery, what would your first thought be?
If I had just won the lottery, I would probably want to buy a new car!

How would people communicate in a perfect world?
I think in a perfect world people would communicate more honestly.

I think yellow because it reminds me of the sun and is bright and cheerful and lights up a room; which I hope I do!

What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
Last fall, I studied abroad in Europe for four months. I went to seven different countries and met so many awesome people. It was definitely a leap of faith, but worth every second!
If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you pick to play your part?
Definitely Reese Witherspoon for many reasons. First, she is classy but also still quirky. She has tons of personality so there would never be a dull moment. Also, she appreciates goofiness and if you know me at all, it is very easy to see I’m the goofiest.

What is your favorite NotWedding event that you have attended?
Probably my first one at Ambient + Studio in Atlanta, GA. 2012? I can still remember the color story and the best dessert bar EVER.
If you could have any superpower which would you pick?
Time traveler. I have always been obsessed with time and time periods. History, the good and the bad. I would also love to stop time. My five-year-old twins are growing up entirely too fast!
