We are continuously blown away by the diverse talents of our vendors. The woman behind Poppy & Clover Floral Design really does it all! From mother, to florist, to aspiring crime-solver, this hard-working lady is one of the best. We have loved getting to know Angela and her team and were thrilled to have them as a designer for our 1st Kansas City NotWedding.

What is the happiest part of your day?
I would have to say that mornings are the happiest part of my day. I get to hang out with my son. We sit at the dining room table…me sipping my cup of coffee and him eating his cereal and I get to listen to him talk in his sweet, little two and a half year old voice.
If you weren’t a florist, what would you be?
In college I majored in Spanish with a minor in Art History and International Studies, so I always used to joke that I would work in an art museum in a Spanish-speaking country and solve international crises in my spare time 🙂 No, but in all seriousness, I love being outside and working in the garden, so I’d have to say that I’d very likely be a landscape designer or something similar. Something that incorporates my love of nature with the ability to be creative on a daily basis.
What are you most proud of?
Two things. One, helping my son grow into the awesome little person he is and two, getting to do what I love on a daily basis. There’s nothing more rewarding than that!
What is your favorite part of The NotWedding experience?
By far, connecting with so many amazing wedding professionals! It’s been great to meet people within the industry that are as passionate about what they do as I am. I’ve already discussed collaborating with a few of my NotWedding colleagues on future projects and I can’t wait!
