The Savannah NotWedding Team
Short description of your business.
I am a wedding photographer located just outside of Athens, GA. I am a Nikon shooter and a SCAD graduate; a Spotify junkie and a musician. I adore all things gold and shiny, and I’m a sucker for tribal prints and chevron. I’m a city girl at heart, but was born and raised on a farm in a small town. Some of my fondest memories reside in Savannah, GA but Paris takes up a part of my heart. I am southern and I can’t live without sweet tea. Cadbury Bunny Eggs and Gummi Bears are my absolute weakness and photography is my passion and my dream come true.
Why do you do what you do?
I can’t imagine doing anything else – I have a constant desire to express myself creatively and photography allows me to do that. It makes me happy.
I get to spend the day with two people that are in love with each other on the happiest day of their lives. What can be better than that?
Who or what inspires you?
I have ADD when it comes to inspiration. I can find it in different things each day. Right now I am deeply inspired by a young friend of mine that is battling an aggressive form of cancer. I photographed him a few days ago and a smile never left his face. He is so brave and it has inspired me to push past all of my fears in my business and personal life.
What did you want to be when you were little?
I wanted to simultaneously be an astronaut and a doctor. So in essence, I wanted to be a rocket surgeon, or Madonna. Any of those would have been awesome.
What is your favorite part about The NotWedding experience?
Meeting all of the amazing vendors was my fav part. I feel like I made some life-long connections and friends.
