One of our spunky Birmingham photographers, Kelly of Spindle Photography, coordinated a talented group of vendors to throw the most fabulous DIY wedding shower in preparation for the 1st Birmingham NotWedding. These vendors got their craft on with DIY shibori while enjoying a picture-perfect al fresco wedding shower…we love a good two for one. Kelly shares some of her excitement on the creative shoot idea below.

“Starting with the inspiration board for The NotWedding, I felt inspired to plan a DIY party for the bride to get some help with a wedding DIY (something I would have loved to have when I was planning my own wedding!). Shibori napkins seemed like a relatively easy and not too expensive DIY that a bride could really use, so with the help of several amazing vendors and a Pinterest board, the idea came to life.”
