Snail mail is our love language. No wonder we have a special place in our hearts for all things paper. These two girls with the same name (Maria) and the same nickname (Mia) are too precious and extremely talented in the paper department. We were honored to have Mia Maria Design from New York as a part of the 8th Atlanta NotWedding and the 1st Boston NotWedding; and we look forward to having them on board for the 2nd New York NotWedding this April.

“Gorgeous paper products for any occasion and the sweetest, friendliest faces! They are so incredibly talented with everything paper.”
Austin Hubbard, Atlanta Production Manager

What is the best part of your job?

Everything. Okay…if we have to choose just one thing, aside from beautiful design, it would have to be when we first start working with a couple on their wedding stationery and we ask them to complete a questionnaire to help us learn about their relationship. Some couples complete the questionnaire together while others are completed by just the bride. Either way, we can’t get enough of hearing about ‘how they would describe their perfect Sunday’, ‘something their fiancé has taught them’, or ‘a word/phrase they would use to describe their relationship’ (to name a few). These fun little tidbits paint the picture of their relationship and help us in bringing their love story to life through custom, cohesive design and details.

What is your advice to brides re: wedding branding?

Be true to yourself. We love Pinterest and wedding magazines/blogs for inspiration, but the beauty of wedding branding is to tell your unique love story and use your paper goods to set the tone for your wedding day.

What has been your favorite part of The NotWedding experience?

From meeting fun, unique brides who “get” The NotWedding experience, to collaborating with such incredibly creative and talented vendors, to being welcomed into the wedding industry with open arms by The NotWedding team – we’re so fortunate to have been selected as a vendor for The NotWedding. But most of all, we’re honored to have been a part of an event that’s main focus is to encourage strong and committed marriages.
