The 7th Atlanta NotWedding: Bridal Shower Styled Shoot

A handful of our wonderful vendors on The 7th Atlanta NotWedding team got together to put on this lovely, classic-meets-modern bridal shower shoot! Molly McKinley Designs was in charge of planning, styling and favors, and gave us a few words on her thoughts behind the shoot’s design:

While brainstorming for The 7th Atlanta NotWedding Styled Shoot, we focused on the importance of relationships and community while planning a wedding. A Bridal Shower was a great opportunity to step away from the perfectly set formal table and refocus on the friends there to celebrate the Bride. In the breakfast nook at Madison Oaks, we placed a beautiful trestle table adorned with dainty appetizers and romantic, flowing florals. It was the perfect place for guests to casually gather, meet one another, and fill their plates with yummy bites from Sun in My Belly. By having guests sit around a coffee table piled with gifts, the setting became intimate and almost real. We all felt like someone should be opening those pretty gifts! The guests rocked in the rocking chairs on the front porch of Madison’s most gorgeous Southern home between shooting. The vendors involved just smiled with sincerity all day because of their love for their craft. This afternoon was so lovely. (Can we do it again?)
