Where did you meet?
Junior High!

Favorite date night out?
Our first date was the sweetest… it was at Seaport Village, we rode the Cinderella carriage and got a caricature made of us!

Where did you get engaged?
At my house in front of my parents.

How did you ask your bridal party to be a part of your big day?
I gave them a handbag that matched the color of each of their dresses with matching accessories in it for them to wear on our big day.

Where did you have your engagement pics taken?
On the streets of SD Gaslamp District and random little cafes we thought were cute. We were going for an urban feel.

What should brides do to make the planning process more fun for the groom?
Have him help you make the final decision on things once you’ve got them narrowed down to only a couple of options that you would choose either way so he doesn’t feel left out in the decision process or overwhelmed with a big decision.

Where did you find your wedding inspiration?
Through a colorful and blinged out bouquet I found in a bridal magazine and fell in love with.

What was your most memorable wedding moment?
Walking down the aisle to the live quartet of violins playing in the background, seeing all of my loved ones sitting in the pews and my soon-to-be hubby standing there waiting for me… It seemed ethereal!

What was your something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue?
I had a bit of blue on my garter and shoes, but, honestly, I must have forgotten about the something old and borrowed because everything else was new.

What was your most sentimental wedding gift?
Probably a framed picture of my grandpa who had recently passed away that was used to sit next to my grandma where my grandpa would have been during our ceremony.

Are you going to wear your wedding dress again?
Yes, I will whenever we renew our vows, then I’ll change into something more comfortable hahaha!

Photo booths – cheesy or cute?
Super fun and cute, wish we would had one at our wedding.

To DIY or not to DIY?
To totally DIY, but only if you can manage and won’t get too overwhelmed halfway through.

To pin or not to pin?
Pin away for inspiration but try to be creative on your own and stay as original as possible.

DJ or Band?
Either way, but there is nothing like live music in my opinion, if it’s in your budget of course!
