Whether a couple decides to push off their honeymoon for a few months due to post-wedding broken piggy banks or they’re just waiting until the weather is warmer, a “mini moon” can be a wonderful prequel/alternative to a honeymoon. By definition, a mini moon is a short trip taken by a newlywed couple, often in advance of a longer getaway to be taken on a later date. This styled shoot from the first Portland NotWedding took place at a cozy lodge in Maine and features some sweet newlywed activities such as breakfast in bed, a canoe ride, and a picnic. Page Photography captured the weekend excursion beautifully, as well as the love between the cute couple, Sarah and Alex. Pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy!
“We envisioned a ‘mini moon’ for the newlyweds; a quick weekend away at Migis Lodge in Casco, Maine, before their big honeymoon. We styled a little picnic and canoe ride for the couple, and drew inspiration from the surrounding colors, environment, and the ocean.”
