Top 5 Wedding Trends

1. Smaller, Intimate Weddings
Couples are narrowing down their guest list in order to focus more on the elements of creating a more personalized wedding experience. Budget dollars are spent on creative menu concepts, décor, entertainment and overall guest interaction.

2. Destination Weddings
A smaller guest count gives couples the option of choosing a place out of the ordinary to share in their “I Do’s”. Arizona is a hotspot for couples to bring their family and friends to experience the beauty of the desert while celebrating their nuptials.

3. Unique Venues
Many couples are looking for non-resort weddings, and instead seeking out private homes, yachts, museums, and private country clubs. Couples choose these alternative options so as not to share their day of celebration with someone else. Brides especially like to think they are the only ones getting married that day, and rightfully so, who would want to cross paths with another bride on such a special occasion?

4. DIY
Sorry to burst your bubble, but DIY is on its way OUT! Pinterest is an amazing site to gather ideas and color schemes, however many of today’s brides simply do not have the time to duplicate those “quick and easy” projects. Many of the posts on Pinterest for such projects are posted by professionals. Ladies, keep gathering all the wonderful information found on Pinterest, but when push comes to shove, hire someone to duplicate those ideas. You will be so happy with the end result!

5. Color
Out with the blush, burlap, and mint green color schemes! Instead, choose bright and vibrant colors to express who you are as a couple. This is, after all, a cheerful celebration. Show some pizazz and wow your guests by mixing it up with bold choices. Check out 50 Shades of Color which is featured monthly on my blog!
