She describes her personal style as classic, feminine, and eclectic – and that’s exactly how we would describe her precious personality. I mean who doesn’t dig that combo? With a background in bridal fashion, Chloe knows how to help a bride look her very best…and she also knows how to help our vendors look their very best. She supports our marketing efforts with an excitement and zest that are contagious! You might also catch some of her spunky vibe on The Big Fake Wedding online platforms as she is the witty and oh-so-fun voice of our social media. In her spare time, she also explores her city (the glorious Charleston, SC) and her fashion sense on TopKnots & PolkaDots. We are excited to share a little bit about our newest (and most fashionable!) team member, Chloe, in her very own highlight today!

Describe yourself in five words.
Creative, goofball, inspired, fearless (sometimes).

Tell us about your blog, TopKnots & PolkaDots.
I used to think that my love of fashion was just a hobby; I even majored in biology thinking that I needed to mask my interest in clothes, beauty, styling and writing in order to be successful. Soon I realized that my knowledge of designers and trends that I once considered frivolous was actually a gift that I needed to utilize. It wasn’t until I started my fashion & lifestyle blog that I realized all of this, and I’m so glad that I did. I originally started my blog as a fun way to help my friends and family with their styling questions (i.e., “How do I wear this pink blazer?”) then it quickly became so much more. I describe my personal style as the love child of J. Crew and Urban Outfitters – classic, feminine, and eclectic – but it kind of seems to change daily. Join me on my journey as I explore my fashion sense in Charleston, SC at www.topknotsandpolkadots.com!

What does your dream day look like?
I can’t decide if it would be to do nothing or everything. On one hand, there’s nothing I love more than to live in my bed for an entire day with Netflix. On the other hand, I would want to spend it with my family (I think I like my family more than what is normal/required), a few friends, and my dog, Louie. It would probably be in my beautiful hometown of Charlottesville, VA, in the middle of autumn, with plenty of snacks, wine, and candy. And Justin Timberlake would be there, too. Wait, can this happen?

If you weren’t working for The Big Fake Wedding right now, what would you be doing?
If I weren’t working for The Big Fake Wedding (knock on wood!), I would probably be living on a farm with 20 shelter dogs, being a hermit, working on my blog 24/7. But let’s not think about that dark place (aside from the dogs) – this is kind of my dream job.

How does your background experience in bridal fashion translate into your role in marketing with The Big Fake Wedding?
Working with brides really gives you an inside scoop in the field of marketing in the wedding world. It was actually sort of the perfect job to have before this. I learned what brides want, don’t want, hate, love, think about, worry about, wonder about – and that has given me a great resource when marketing for the ultimate (fake) wedding. Marketing is so much about psychology, so understanding the minds of brides is extremely helpful. I also did a lot of social media marketing/blogging and most of our followers were brides, so it’s nice to know which kinds of posts flop, and which ones make brides go gaga (i.e., Lauren Conrad’s wedding timeline checklist). However, I still have so much to learn and I couldn’t be in a better place to do it.
