One of Corbin’s childhood best friends knew what she was doing when she introduced Corbin to Hank. It was an instant connection when they bonded over their mutual love of the Atlanta Braves. Two years into dating, Hank planned a trip to take Corbin to New York City to see the U.S. Open (or so she thought!) They barely stepped foot off the plane before he whisked her away to Central Park. Completely to her surprise, he proposed to her with a ring he custom designed. Corbin and Hank were then married in Marietta, GA on April 14, 2012. We are so excited to celebrate these two at The Big Fake Wedding Boulder!

We are so excited to celebrate Corbin and Hank as they renew their vows at The Big Fake Wedding Boulder, Thursday night at Rembrandt Yard Art Gallery & Event Center. We hope to see you there!

What was the most unique part of your engagement story?

From her:

Hank planned a perfect engagement! One thing that you should know about hank is that he loves tennis, so he used that to his advantage. He told me that he was going to take me to NYC to go to the US Open. I totally believed him. Right when we landed in NYC he said that we had to go to Central Park. I remember thinking that he seemed in a hurry (very unlike his normal “go-with-the-flow” self) but I didn’t mind since it was my first time to the Big Apple and I was ready to see and do EVERYTHING! After walking around the park for a while we finally ended up sitting on a rock right on the edge of “The Lake” with beautiful views of the city. From there he got down on one knee, and babbled through tears (so precious) as he proposed to me. As he put the ring on my finger he told me that he had been in cahoots with my jeweler friend, Lauren, for the past couple of months and that they had designed a one of a kind ring just for me! I remember saying ” Are you serious?!?!” I was feeling ALL the feels at this point! As if that wasn’t enough, right after he told me about Lauren making the ring for me, he said “you should turn around….” and right when I turned, I saw LAUREN…TAKING PICTURES! Hank had flown Lauren up to NYC to document our engagement! At that point, all I wanted to do was cry (happy tears, of course!) but I couldn’t because I was in such shock! haha. After, all of this finally sunk in, I still couldn’t believe that Hank had pulled off such an awesome engagement! To this day, as I think back to that September day, I still get cold chills and smile thinking about how lucky I am to have Hank.

What is the best date you have ever had?

From him:

For our 2nd Anniversary, we were afforded the opportunity to travel Europe from Amsterdam to Florence. I won trip to Florence as a part of meeting my sales goals for my company. We thought it would be a great idea to go over to Europe a week before this reward trip in Florence and make our way across Europe. I could go on for days about the different people we met, the cities we visited and the experiences we had. During our time on the French Riviera, we rented a car and traveled from San Tropez to Nice, France. It was so amazing to travel by car and stop off at every beautiful point (which was just about every turn). One of the places we stopped at, Sainte-Maxime, was so beautiful and we just had to get out and hang by the beach. This day happen to be our Anniversary and we really wanted to eat along side the beach but we didn’t find the right spot/restaurant. So we decided to just order a large pizza and a bottle of wine and take it to the beach along the Mediterranean Sea. This was such a relaxing and low key date but far exceeded any super dressy date we could have imagined. I had amazing views of the sea, palm trees, my wife, great food and red wine. What more do you need!?
