We’re getting all kinds of excited for our 2018 season! This week we will be announcing our full schedule, but until then we wanted to give you a peek at what’s in store for next year.

First off, we can’t wait to share the beautiful, new inspiration boards for 2018. In order to have a team of 30+ vendors with multiple event designers, it’s our job to make sure everyone is on the same page. For each event, we give the vendor team an inspiration board to model their designs around so that every event  is cohesive and tells a story.

This year, we brought back Big Fake Wedding alumna, Mattie Tiegreen, to conceptualize and design the inspiration boards. As someone who has been a vendor at our events before and been challenged with executing a design based off of a board, Mattie totally gets it and offers such a unique perspective to the process. She took special care in creating boards that were both fresh and easy to work off of. Mattie used some of her favorite places (think: Joshua Tree and Palm Springs) to create some truly beautiful boards.

Mattie called on the help of some amazing photographers and artists to find photos that perfectly embodied the inspiration. We’re so thankful to have the artistry of these friends to bring our concepts to life.

You’ll see the work of Kaitie Bryant, Rachel Illiadis, Morgan BlakeLauren Miller, Meredith Rush, Jeff Frandsen, Luke & Mallory, Eliza Morrill, Convivial Productions, Lauren Carnes, and Amanda Nolte just to name a few. Thank you for sharing your work with us!

After we have our curated boards, we then decide where to assign each board. As a team, we evaluate the time of year, venue aesthetic, and the city vibe to find the best inspiration for each event.

Along with our fresh, new boards, we also have some amazing media partners coming alongside us to help promote our events next year. We’re thrilled to announce that you’ll be seeing The Big Fake Wedding on the pages of 100 Layer Cake, HOORAY! Magazine, White Mag, Dear Gray Magazine, Ceremony Magazine, Here Comes the Guide, Perfect Wedding Guide, and Southern Bride & Groom!

These partners share our mission of inspiring brides and grooms, encouraging solid marriages, and promoting small businesses. We’re thankful and excited to be linking arms with them for 2018!

Thinking about next year gives us an extra pep in our step. We can’t wait to see these inspiration boards come alive all across the country and to see the final product shared across these blogs and magazines. Cheers to a new year!
