Cortney and Jon met over black bean soup at a local Charleston bistro.  Cortney was a server and he was just hired as head chef. Three years later Jon picked her up and took her on their first date and they just haven’t been able to shake each other since. They got married in 2014 in the city where they met. Cortney and Jon recently relocated to Nashville to write a new chapter with their new addition to the family, little miss Colette Amarie. We’re very excited to celebrate these two at The Big Fake Wedding Nashville!

What was the best memory of our wedding day?
From her: Standing around the corner out of sight with my father as the bridesmaids walked down the aisle, having that moment with him, to turn the corner and see my then groom’s face. The way he lit up, I’ve never been so sure of anything in my life as I was in that moment.

What is the most awesome thing about your marriage?
Always having someone to share life with, the bad and the great and everything in between.

What would be your advice for engaged couples?
Have fun! Give yourself time to plan the big day so you can enjoy the planning part and have fun with it, and just go with the flow! The big day goes by so fast, and something is bound to fall between the cracks, so the best thing to do is soak up every bit of it, including the planning, and enjoy it. After all, it is your wedding!

We invite you to join us at The Big Fake Wedding Nashville, Thursday night at The Cordelle! There are still a few tickets available so grab yours here now!
